Organoleptic Plant Exploration

Join herbalist Amanda Wells from Botanical Handworks in this workshop for those interested in understanding the energetics of plants. Organoleptic analysis is the use of sensory impressions to explore the qualities of the herb. Using appearance, aroma, taste, texture, mouthfeel, and mood we will use our senses to experience the energetic language of plants. The intention of this is to give us a better understanding of how the plant's medicine works on the different levels of our bodies. We will do this through touch, taste, smell, sight, sharing our individual sensory experiences, and guided meditation.
